Job Description – Site Supervisor (FM/MEP)
A Site Supervisor (FM/MEP) is responsible for supervising daily facility maintenance activities, coordinating MEP technicians, monitoring work quality, and ensuring smooth operation of building systems according to FM contract requirements and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily FM/MEP maintenance activities at the site.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to technicians and maintenance teams.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure MEP systems operate efficiently and safely, including:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Fire protection systems
- ELV systems (as applicable)
- Building services equipment
- Review work orders and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct site inspections and verify quality of completed works.
- Coordinate with FM Engineers, supervisors, clients, and contractors.
- Monitor technician performance and productivity.
- Ensure availability of tools, materials, and spare parts required for maintenance work.
- Maintain daily reports, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor housekeeping and safe working practices at the site.
- Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules and service improvements.
- Participate in client meetings and provide operational updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Facilities Management (FM).
- Experience in MEP maintenance and building services operations.
- Experience supervising maintenance teams in commercial, residential, or large facilities.
- Qatar/GCC FM experience is preferred.
