Job Title: Construction Manager (Civil)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Construction Manager (Civil) to oversee and manage civil construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of civil construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and government authorities.
- Monitor project costs, control budgets, and prepare progress reports.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower at project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Resolve technical and operational issues to minimize project delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management practices.
- Experience managing residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction planning tools is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
