Job Description – Temporary Driver
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Temporary Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for employees, company representatives, documents, materials, and other authorized items as required. The driver must have a valid driving license, good knowledge of local roads, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as assigned.
- Transport employees, management, visitors, documents, materials, and equipment as required.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Maintain the vehicle in clean and good operating condition.
- Conduct routine checks of fuel, tires, oil, brakes, lights, and other basic vehicle functions.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents, or other issues immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle-related expenses where required.
- Assist with loading and unloading documents, materials, or equipment when necessary.
- Ensure company property and transported items are handled safely and securely.
- Maintain confidentiality when transporting company personnel or documents.
- Perform other driving-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Valid driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Previous driving experience; experience in a company or construction environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and physically fit.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when required.
