Senior Graphic Designer
Reports to: Creative Director or Art Director
Position Overview:
The Senior Graphic Designer is a creative leader and expert visual communicator. Responsible for translating marketing and brand strategies into compelling visual concepts and high-quality design across both digital and print mediums. This role involves mentoring junior designers, leading projects, and ensuring the highest standard of creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptual Design: Lead the conceptualization and design of innovative visual solutions for integrated campaigns, including branding, digital advertising, social media assets, print collateral, presentations, and more.
- Art Direction: Provide art direction on photo/video shoots and oversee the visual style of projects from conception to final delivery.
- Brand Guardianship: Ensure all visual output is consistent with brand identity guidelines and elevates the client's brand perception.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior designers, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively with copywriters, account managers, and digital teams.
- Technical Execution: Produce pixel-perfect, print-ready, and optimized digital files using industry-standard software.
- Presentation: Confidently present and rationalize design concepts to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, typography, layout, and branding skills across multiple mediums.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects) or UI/UX principles is a strong advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
