Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. The role involves diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, performing eye surgeries, and managing vision health for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions (cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, refractive errors).
- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery (phacoemulsification), LASIK/PRK, glaucoma surgery, and retinal surgeries.
- Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
- Provide emergency eye care services.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in ophthalmology.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a Post-Graduate degree (MS/DNB in Ophthalmology).
- Valid SCFHS license or eligibility.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in ophthalmic surgery.
- Ability to operate ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment.
- Patient-centric approach with meticulous attention to detail.
