Salary Range: 1,500 SAR (Base) + 300 SAR (Food Allowance) + Annual Increment of 300 SAR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Security System Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will ensure our clients' safety and security infrastructure operates at peak efficiency, providing technical support and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Configuration: Install, program, and configure a variety of security systems, including CCTV (Analog & IP), Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Alarms (Perimeter & Internal), Intercoms, and Fire Alarm systems.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine preventive maintenance, system checks, and software updates to ensure optimal performance and longevity of security equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose hardware and software malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Efficiently repair or replace faulty components such as cameras, sensors, control panels, wiring, and DVRs/NVRs.
- Cabling & Wiring: Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (e.g., coaxial, Cat5e/6, fiber optic) in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Client Interaction & Training: Provide clear instructions and basic training to end-users on system operation. Address client queries professionally and ensure satisfaction with the resolution.
- Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, installation diagrams, equipment lists, and "as-built" documentation for each project or service call.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO), and local regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Manufacturer-specific certifications (Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, etc.) are a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in installing and servicing electronic security systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient understanding of IP networks, IP addressing, and PoE.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong hands-on skills with tools for wiring, mounting, and testing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: 1,500 SAR per month.
- Food Allowance: 300 SAR per month.
- Annual Increment: A guaranteed salary increase of 300 SAR after each completed year of service.
