Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Male Physiotherapist to join our team at a private hospital in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for patients to restore physical function, mobility, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including medical history review and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Treatment Implementation:
- Administer appropriate physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Utilize modern techniques and equipment to aid in patient recovery.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide guidance on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to patient care planning.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- License: Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license or eligibility to obtain UAE licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
- Proficient in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
