Job Title: Junior Project Engineer
Job Summary
The Junior Project Engineer supports the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. This role involves assisting senior engineers and project managers in coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects meet technical, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in planning project schedules, timelines, and resources
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Track project progress and update reports
- Support in organizing meetings and preparing project documentation
Technical Support
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Assist in design modifications and technical problem-solving
- Ensure work is executed as per technical standards and drawings
Site & Execution Support
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and quality
- Assist in supervising on-site activities
- Identify and report issues or delays
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Support quality inspections and testing activities
- Assist in implementing corrective actions
Health & Safety
- Follow and promote safety procedures at site
- Assist in conducting safety checks and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project records, reports, and technical documents
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Assist in preparing project completion reports
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience (freshers can apply)
Skills
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and project management
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
