Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards, and achieving sales and profitability goals. The role involves leading and motivating the team, managing budgets, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Lead, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Control operational costs, minimize waste, and maximize profitability.
- Prepare sales, operational, and financial reports for management.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain service excellence.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Drive sales through promotions, customer engagement, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a premium or fine-dining environment.
- Experience managing teams and restaurant operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
