Job Title: Talent Acquisition / In-House Recruiter
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) / In-House Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, ensure a positive candidate experience, and support the organization's hiring goals. Unlike agency recruiters, in-house recruiters focus exclusively on filling roles within their own organization and often contribute to employer branding and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment from job requisition to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and create job descriptions.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, social media, and networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews.
- Coordinate technical and managerial interview schedules.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate compensation and prepare offer letters.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment reports.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Support employer branding initiatives, campus recruitment, and recruitment events.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment laws.
Required Skills
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
- Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Taleo).
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Naukri, and other job portals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
- Negotiation and offer management.
- Time management and multitasking.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Corporate Recruitment.
- Experience recruiting across technical, non-technical, or leadership roles.
- HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
