Job Summary
We are looking for a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, customers, and assets. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring activities, controlling access, and responding promptly to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Greet visitors and verify identities before granting entry.
- Control access at entry and exit points.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises and report safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Assist customers and employees with security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and daily security activities.
- Coordinate with management and emergency services when required.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security services is preferred.
- Valid security guard license/certification (if required by local regulations).
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and security equipment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
