Job Description: Recruitment Officer
Job Summary
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates in line with the organization's workforce requirements. The role involves sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment records, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while supporting the company's talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Prepare and publish job advertisements on recruitment portals, social media, and other sourcing channels.
- Source candidates through job boards, recruitment agencies, employee referrals, networking, and other talent acquisition methods.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability.
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates.
- Conduct reference checks, employment verification, and background screening as required.
- Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and other recruitment documentation.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant databases, and recruitment reports.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements and support the onboarding process for new hires.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and hiring effectiveness.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and workforce planning.
- Perform other HR and recruitment-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, interviewing techniques, and employment practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS.
- Familiarity with employment laws and recruitment best practices.
