GRN Executive
Job Summary
The GRN Executive is responsible for managing the Goods Receipt Note process, ensuring accurate documentation and verification of incoming materials against purchase orders. This role plays a critical part in inventory management and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Goods Receipt Processing: Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery challans
- Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and related documentation
- Quality Coordination: Coordinate with Quality Control teams for inspection of received materials
- System Updates: Enter GRN details into inventory management systems promptly
- Discrepancy Handling: Identify and report discrepancies in quantity, quality, or specifications
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery issues or documentation requirements
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized files of all GRN documents for audit purposes
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on goods receipt status and pending inspections
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-3 years experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or similar role
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
