Cardiologist
Job Summary:
The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. The role involves non-invasive and invasive procedures, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests (ECG, Holter monitoring, echocardiography, stress tests).
- Manage conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and hypertension.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including pharmacological and interventional therapies.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
- Participate in on-call rotations for cardiac emergencies.
- Contribute to patient education and cardiac rehabilitation programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Preferred Sub-specialties: Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, or Echocardiography.
