Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surgical procedures, providing pre- and post-operative care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, order diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRI, CT scans), and make accurate diagnoses.
- Perform surgical interventions for fractures, joint disorders, spinal conditions, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases.
- Perform joint replacement surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder) and arthroscopic procedures.
- Manage trauma cases in the emergency department.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including non-surgical options.
- Provide follow-up care, rehabilitation guidance, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research if required.
- Adhere to hospital policies, medical ethics, and Saudi MOH regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a relevant Post-Graduate degree (MS/DNB in Orthopaedics).
- Valid Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification or eligibility for licensing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital setting.
- Proven surgical competence and a record of successful procedures.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a distinct advantage.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
