Job Description:
We are recruiting a Gastroenterologist to prevent, diagnose, and treat disorders of the digestive system. This role emphasizes both clinical expertise and proficiency in advanced endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage diseases of the GI tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder (e.g., GERD, IBD, IBS, hepatitis, cirrhosis).
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures: Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and capsule endoscopy.
- Perform interventions such as polypectomy, biopsy, stricture dilation, and banding of varices.
- Interpret findings from endoscopic and imaging studies.
- Develop long-term management plans for chronic GI conditions.
- Provide hepatology care for patients with liver diseases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for GI cancers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a Post-Graduate degree (MD/DM/DNB in Gastroenterology).
- Valid SCFHS license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience.
- Extensive, documented hands-on experience in a wide range of endoscopic procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of hepatology is required.
