Job Description:
We are looking for a Neurologist to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system. This is a primarily non-surgical role focused on clinical neurology, requiring strong diagnostic acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, neuropathies, and movement disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including EEG, EMG/NCS, and neuroimaging (CT, MRI).
- Manage acute neurological emergencies (e.g., acute stroke, status epilepticus).
- Develop and oversee long-term treatment plans for chronic neurological diseases.
- Provide botulinum toxin therapy for chronic migraine and movement disorders.
- Work closely with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation medicine specialists.
- Conduct outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a Post-Graduate degree (DM/DNB in Neurology).
- Valid SCFHS classification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a specialist Neurologist.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEG and EMG/NCS is essential.
- Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills to explain complex conditions to patients.
